let me guess, you're thinking "we're awkward in front of the camera & there's no way our photos will look like the straight up models on this page!" but we can assure you that each of them felt the same way (we all do!) we will pose you, give fun prompts, + make you forget you're even having your photo taken, so we make genuine memories for you to look back on forever.
our greatest hope is that you show up to your session in a headspace where you can be your most authentic self. by all means, bring a bottle of champagne or let me know your favorite playlist. whatever it takes to make this an enjoyable experience, we got you babe!
every session includes an edited copy of all usable photos. don't worry! we aren't trashing any images you'd like to have, but we do shoot a LOT incase we catch any blinks, blurs, or bugs flying by! during the editing process, we narrow it down to the best, giving you each precious moment.

to add on a 20 page custom hardback photo book to any session is +$100.
each elopement day is completely unique because it's exactly what you & your person want. because of this, elopement packages are extremely customizable. our base package for elopements is $900 and includes up to 2 hours of coverage, an edited copy of all usable photos, a copyright release, and travel within two hours. this base package is great if you're looking to go on an adventure to say "i do!" and capture memories along the way. however, if you're planning more of a micro wedding and would also like family photos, getting ready, etc we can absolutely create something more customized to your needs. our team have photographed many elopements in state and internationally, so we are more than happy to lend an ear and help get the plan in place!

the best time for your baby's session is typically 7-10 days after birth. newborn sessions include up to 2 hours ( we know this sounds like a long time, but we like to allow for a laid back atmosphere + have time to change, comfort, + feed baby as needed.)
the session can be done in-home, or in team member Natalie's home studio space. we have lots of wraps, baskets, + accessories available for use during your session. newborn sessions typically result in 50-70 edited images. parent involvement in the photos is encouraged, but if you'd like the focus to mainly be on your little one that's fine too!

we like to say that you get an edited copy of all "usable" photos! this means we are not throwing any photos out that you'd like to have, just to stick to a quoted number of images. we give several variations of each pose, and every evergolden member is a big time over-shooter, so you'll often get more than the minimum number quoted with your session or wedding!
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR FOR MY SHOOT?
most importantly, you should wear something that is comfortable and true to your style! colorwise, neutrals are the BEST! you can't go wrong with black, white, cream, brown, + warm, earthy tones. vivid colors and busy patterns do tend to look distorted when edited, but if you have your heart set on a certain outfit, we would much rather you be true to yourself!
WHAT ARE YOUR TRAVEL FEES?
we love nothing more than to travel! whether it's up the road or across the country! for sessions within a 2 hour radius, our fees range from $40-$100 typically.
for destination locations, we try to keep travel fees at-cost. feel free to reach out with the destination you have in mind to get a quote. we do some research and only charge for the cost of: a roundtrip plane ticket, two nights of stay (night before + after your session or wedding), and rental car. this makes my travel fees relatively low cost, so if you're feeling intimated by the thought of travel fees- let's chat!
WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE TO reschedule?
life happens! we are very flexible when it comes to cancellation + reschedules. if something comes up on your end, please just let us know as soon as possible and we will find a new date that works for you!
WHAT IF THERE'S BAD WEATHER?
no rain on your parade! we all know the seasons can change in a minute here! if it is too cold, hot, or rainy, and your heart is set on that outdoor location, we are happy to find a reschedule date. living in georgia, we've learned to keep some open space on the calendar for reschedules from inclement weather!
Where should we take our photos?
we have a variety of local spots perfect for clients in the west georgia area, including our own in-home studio space in team member Natalie's home. as we nail down details for your session, we will send sample photos of locations for you to choose from. we are also always down to go to a spot that's special to you, or travel (see question three for more details on travel fees!)
when will i receive my photos?
for sessions, our typical turn around time is 1-2 days for sneak peeks and two weeks on the full album. we offer an expedited 3 day delivery option for an additional $40.
for weddings and elopements, our turn around time is 3-4 days for sneak peeks and approximately 7 weeks from your date on the full album delivery. a firm delivery date will be established on your wedding contract!
HOW DO YOU ACCEPT PAYMENT?
we accept cash, Zelle, or Venmo for all payments.
for sessions, payment is due at the time of the session.
for weddings, a $300 deposit (that applies to your total cost) is required with all packages to reserve your date. a payment plan is established on your contract, from the time of booking to your final delivery date.
do you back up your photos?
YES! at your session or wedding, we shoot onto two cards simultaneously per camera so there's always an extra copy. as soon as we get home, we store the photos in three places (computer, hard drive, and online) in addition to keeping the cards until your session or wedding is delivered, so your photos are always safe with us!
do you provide unedited/raw photos?
the magic isn't complete until we've taken your photos from start to finish! for this reason, we don't ever deliver unedited or raw photos. we take great care in hand editing each photo to bring the moment to life - we never just pop on a "filter" and export. when booking a photographer, it's important for your vision to align with their artistic style.

we facetimed before our session + she wanted to know how we met, how he proposed, and just who we were as a couple. when it was time for our engagement session, it felt like we had known her forever. we have been together for 5 years and never had professional photos taken, but she made us feel so comfortable. she helped with posing and just getting us to be our true selves which can be hard since we weren't used to being in front of the camera. anytime i get the chance to talk about our photos and Ashlee, i do because i can't recommend her enough!
